I ordered their famous steak sandwich, was full of nerves and fat, very tough to eat. Only managed to stomach 1/4 of the sandwich

We stopped in for Basque food as advertised, but were surprised to find that Toki Ona is just a standard diner. The prices were ridiculously high, so we chose to only eat appetizers, which were straight out of the freezer. They brought us soup that we did not order, that I can't even eat because of a dietary restriction, then wanted to charge us $10.00 for it. When we protested, the owner was very unpleasant and accused us of trying to get a freebie. Based on our lousy experience, I would recommend driving past this place to find a Basque restaurant that actually serves Basque food.
