There was a foul odor as you walked into the room. The layout of everything is bad. Switches for the bathroom or outside the bathroom. Towels are small, and there were no washcloths.
We love staying at Travelodges due to their super friendly service, great rooms, and locations. However, there needs to be more security in their locations, especially on behalf of being a nonsmoking facility. We showed up, were asked all of the questions including agreeing to not smoke but to be charged if we do (we don't, my wife has a small anyway and this was the reason why we wanted to stay at a nonsmoking facility). We were parking and someone was smoking out their window and on our floor you could smell Marijuana and cigarette smoke. We I formed the front desk but it would be more comforting to know if they had additional help to keep their facilities in order with their policies.
The people are really nice. They we really helpful when it came to the room me and my 1 year old son were in. But there is no elevator, and the breakfast options arent that great. There are only 6 options of food and non of them are cooked.. (Ex. Cereal, bagels, yogurt, fruit)
Clean rooms, decent continental breakfast. They had coffee, milk, juice, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, fruit and danishes/pastries. We enjoyed our stay. And it was a great price! Only problem is there are only a couple plugs in the room, but not the end of the world.
bring your own non slip for shower, its slick. clean room, a little small but reasonable price. pet friendly but $20 per pet
Than the other stuff .
On the plus side the beds are soft and the pillows are nice.
