The environment was pleasant and the staff was too. Only downside was I left with a lot less money than I went with.
Terrible experience. I went in to Dotty's to buy a drink today as well as to break a hundred. I am also 8 months pregnant. The lady turned me away for no reason and said she couldn't break it and also would not let me buy a soda. I politely left and told my friend what happened. My friend took me back because she was a regular. We put our money in the machine to gamble a few dollars. After we played we cashed out and took our ticket to the lady. She pushed the ticket back at us and said she wasn't cashing it out for Starbucks or GameStop. We looked at each other and asked "what" because we were both shocked that she was implying that she was not going to cash our ticket out. We stood there and she finally took it and gave us our change and we left. She was very rude and had terrible customer service skills. I wouldn't go back!
Horrible the older lady at the counter was a very rude! I asked to 2 drinks and i told her i had a 100$ Bill she just out of know where with her snotty attitude says "I'm not going to break that just so you can go to Taco Bell and buy tacos"! First of all I'm never even been in that casino for her to assume anything about me second just because I'm a fat girl doesn't mean that she can automatically assume that I'm going to go eat freakin tacos!!!! Then when i told her I wasn't for tacos shes like then what you want the money for!?!!! Its like why do you care what the hell i use my change for im a 27 year old not a kid!
My experience was, to say the least, terrible. I will never go in a Dotty's again and I recommend you don't either. At least not this one. The rude old lady working at the counter behaves as if she hates her job and every patron in the place. When I attempted to get one of those "reward" cards and discovered my driver's license had expired 2 months ago on my birthday, I gave her another photo ID. My "Concealed Weapons License" which I later verified, is considered a legal photo ID. The application for the "reward" card had a box for verification of "photo ID" but did not state that a "Driver's License" was the required form of ID. The nasty woman rudely denied my request for the "reward" card. Fine..no big deal right? Well when I found a slot machine and started gambling, she came to me and demanded that I leave because I "did not have a valid ID". She went on to claim that she had checked the ID of everyone in there at the time and everyone had a valid Driver's License but me. She also stated that it was a Nevada Gaming Commission violation to have me in the building even if it was just to patiently wait for my sister to cash-out of the machine she was playing on so she could leave as well. I was made to stand out on the sidewalk in the rain like a vagrant. Not only was the woman very rude to me, she was rude to my sister and another customer as well. I offered for her to help the other customer that was standing behind me while I completed the "reward" card application and she said "he can wait". I was surprised by how rude she was to him.
After watching a couple on top of each other and listening to swearing I was livkef out for wearing sweats. I put dress pant on a few months later and went back and was kicked out for not wearing tennis shoes. For God's sake it is a casino not a copy try club. Worse place to go if you want to relax.
