A great place to buy Mexican products. The food is inexpensive and the staff is very accommodating!
Has lots of uncommon vegetables you can't find anywhere else in town!
Pan dulce and bolillo made everyday, fresh produce comes in from California once a week normally on Thursday or Friday morning. Antojitos/Mexican style snacks Friday-Monday. Produce prices on average 20% cheaper than the grocery stores.
Very very warm inside which had a negative affect on the quality of the produce. Also there was large amount of fruit flies. This all was quite shocking and definitely out of the norm.
Cost for produce is good, but quality is hit and miss. They have a wide assortment of candies and misc treats that you won't find at most chain grocery stores. Other than that selection is limited and it's not the cleanest place for a food vendor.
