This store is my "go to" grocery store in town for the last six years. Great quality produce, clean store, friendly employees.
Their produce is wonderful their meat is great also they have a lot of organic range free products to offer as well
I have shopped at this Elko store since it opened..... moved to the other side of town but was still a loyal customer.. I am used to the store layout and like the employees. However, since the new manager ( approximately 1 year ago) the quality has declined...... produce is sub standard, and now the discount for bulk liquor has been eliminated.. no reason to go there any more. I will find another store. Checked liquor prices at Khoury's and they beat Raleys.. ( and they are the most expensive in town). So long!!!!
I wasn't even aware hard salami had this rind before purchasing from this store, and I have been grocery shopping for more than three decades. Despite repeatedly bringing this to the attention of employees and the deli manager, it happens at least a third of the time if I am not vigilant and remind the employees myself before they begin slicing.
Nice store but had 2 customers harass me while I was shopping. 1 especially. Made me feel very uncomfortable. I have never had that happen in a grocery store.
I would give the store five stars, because it is a great store, but for a problem with the deli department. At least a third of the time, when purchasing sliced hard salami from the deli counter, the plastic rind is left on. This results in gross stringy pieces that have to be removed from each slice before eating.
I really like this grocery store. They have a really great deli, and friendly employees. The store is clean and employees are always willing to help. Excellent customer service, but it is a little pricey compared to others in the area.
Because this isn't an issue at any other store deli I have ever shopped at, anywhere in the country, I am knocking off two stars. Great store otherwise.
