If I can't trust a business to come through on a simple oil change time-frame, I would not trust them to do anything else. I will never do business again with Big O tires in Elko. Poor service and an overall don't care attitude.
I took my car in for a rotate and balance yesterday. When they got done the clerk told me that they broke my hub cap. I worked in the tire business for a few years so I understand that old hub caps can brake easy sometimes. Even though I was irritated I let it slide bc I thought I was getting a good service for free. When I walked out of the store I looked at my back tires to see if they were correct bc they are rotational tires. The back two were fine so I assumed the front two were as well. Today I started working on my car and noticed the front two, the two most important tires on the car are backwards. I'm about to go on a long trip and my front tires would have been destroyed if I left today. It even says "rotation" in plan English with arrows pointing in the correct direction. Now I'm thinking they didnt give a rats ass when they broke my hub cap and certainly didnt care when they placed my tires on backwards. Get some people that can read what's on the tires and this wouldn't happen, take some pride in your work. I'm not buying tires at BigO now they'll end up placing new tires on backwards. Thank god I did my own oil change yesterday, they probably would have double gasket'd it or forgot the drain plug.
The service reps walked around updating other customers who had come in long after I did, presumably because they knew them personally. Overall poor customer service unless you are apart of the good old boys club.
Went to big O to get my wife's 2017 Ford Explorer oil changed on 9/6/17. Service rep said it would be a 1 1/2 hour wait because they were busy, totally understandable. I sat their for 3 hours with no update to why it was taking much longer or when it would be done.

Went to Big O because my car said to check tire pressure. I didn't have an appointment and they looked kind of busy but they got me in, found a screw in my tire! They fixed the tire and didn't charge me! I was out in less than 30 minutes! AND the guys were very polite and friendly.
We were traveling to Napa, California in support of the California wildfires. We noticed our trailer tires were nearly bald. We were in and out with two new tires and back on the road in about 40 minutes. Very fast and friendly service.
