The food is great. The service was awful. We took my daughter to dinner for her birthday and ordered all you can eat. They needed to clear a table to seat us(3), (no big thing), but another server came over and said she would seat us in another section and be our server again no big deal.
Poor service, wait staff didn't know anything about the dishes, ordered an appetizer, kept asking about it throughout the meal. Waiter kept replying that it was on the way. We finally gave up on the dish, after he finally brought the check a few minutes later he finally brings out the appetizer, after the check!
They tried to force an automatic gratuity on us, because we had 5 people in our party. Even if we had 40 we wouldn't have paid, never had such poor service in my life. Every single order was wrong, if they attempted to fix it, it got worse each try, so they wore us down and decided to eat what they served.
Sushi here is comparable to other sushi restaurants. The baked mussels and all you can eat option places this restaurant above the rest. Service is always friendly and the sushi seems to cine out faster here than most places
Our first rolls came out. We had to flag our server down for the wasabi and ginger. She didn't even bring us plates! I kinda let it go since the rolls came out on individual platters. Another server refilled our drinks.
Everyone in our group has sworn this place off our places to eat.
AN HOUR LATER SHE CAME BACK TO GET OUR SECOND ROLL ORDER! 25 minutes later our second set of rolls came on one platter and she dropped and ran before we could ask for plates, my daughter was tired and upset do we finished reaching across the table and passing the huge platter taking turns to finish. Daughter didn't get another roll or get to order her special dessert for her birthday. Heart broken 10 year old. Did I mention that most of the time our server was at the counter chitchatting. Pissed. And of coarse we paid full price for our two rolls each.
Bad service. We went for my dads birthday and everyone got their food and 1 hour later he got his. Steve should get fired
My favorite place for sushi. Tonight they were awesome. Great food and great service!! Try the Midnight Stretcher. Fabulous drink made by Freddie.
The icing on the cake is that when we were leaving we saw someone from the kitchen getting rice from the metal storage container sitting in the dirt field behind the restaurant. I have a hard time imaging a food storage container that isn't sealable, sitting in a dirt lot, no electricity or temperature control that wouldn't have a rodent problem. Curious to know if the health department knows they store food in a dirt lot.
